beer_chips_9_ozHave you heard of Beer Chips?  How about Chip Shots?  They’re two new products from Beer Chips, LLC out of Portland, Oregon, and if they taste good and get decent distribution, they’re destined to make it.

The company is offering salty snacks in three new flavors that combine well-known and complementary tastes.  Oh, and the thick-cut, kettle style potato chips are all-natural, trans-fat free and cholesterol free.  Interested yet?  Check out the flavors:

  • Beer Chips – Coated with beer, sugar, honey and salt
  • Chip Shots – Flavored with margarita and salt
  • Hot Potatoes – Flavored with spicy Bloody Mary

What do you think?  Will potato chips lovers find themselves saying goodbye to barbecue and salt and vinegar?  The new flavors certainly sound worth a try.  Consumers like beer nuts, so why not beer chips?

I’m intrigued and will have to give them a try. I’ve been craving a Bloody Mary lately, so maybe this’ll do the trick without me having to bust out the booze.

I’d like to see chocolate covered potato chips. Now that would be something.
